Hall Passes Giveaway!

Hall
Passes are so useful in our classrooms. I like to place mine next to the door
as a visual. For example, if the restroom pass is missing, students know that
they need to wait their turn until the hall pass is back in place. This is a
procedure that students will become familiar with very quickly. It
works great to maintain a good classroom management system.  Your
Subs will love it!

Butterfly Gametivity

I hope that you like my new idea 🙂

I am always looking for ways to
make learning fun. This FREE pack includes the common ROLL, SAY, COVER game mats for
number identification and addition. But, I came up with a new way to use this
concept for vocabulary development and comprehension.  I combined the ROLL, SAY, COVER game with the
LIFE CYCLE OF THE BUTTERFLY vocabulary pieces.  It is a good way to develop thematic vocabulary skills and, of course,  practice those new words. In this case, the students will review butterfly life cycle terminology. (My plan is to make more of these for other themes as well.)
Then, I added a twist to this game and
came up with a ROLL, SAY, COLOR GAMETiViTY. Let’s have fun while learning, right? Take a look and tell me what you think 🙂
Oh, and make sure to download your freebies.

If you like my new ROLL, SAY, COLOR idea, here are some more freebies from my latest product.
Enjoy!!!

Click on the picture of the Alphabet Roll, Say, Color Gametivity.
This freebie is hidden in the product preview.
So, download the preview to get this freebie 🙂

Do you like the clip art? It’s all in my clip art store. More will be added this week 🙂
By the way, I am having a sale in my TPT store and my
TPT clip art store.

Now, HOP along to the  Kinder-Craze blog by Maria Monroe for more freebie fun!

Easter Syllable Sort

Here’s a syllable sorting activity that you can use in your pocket chart center. This packet includes number cards and Easter-themed picture cards. First, students will place the numbers at the top of the pocket chart. Then, they will choose one picture card, clap the syllables and place it under the corresponding number. A response sheet is included in this set.

Download the Easter printables here.

Roll, Say, Color Sight Words

I came up with another idea for reviewing sight words. This one is a Roll, Say, Color game for Dolch sight words. You can either use the real dice or dice cards that I have included in this packet. It is very simple to use. Just place it in a center or send it home for practice. The student will roll a die, find the matching number on the mat, say the word, and color the word. This packet includes the Preschool, Kinder and First Grade Dolch Sight Words. Each page correlates with a Dolch List of Words plus an extra word to practice.
Here’s a sample of Kindergarten Dolch List #10.
The bundle includes the Preschool, Kindergarten and First Grade Dolch Words. Click on any cover to learn more about it.

Sight Words in a Purse and Car Case- TO GO!

Here’s a fun way to get students excited about learning their sight words. It can be used as a weekly homework packet or as a center activity. I created a Sight Words Purse for girls and a Car Carrying Case for boys. They are bot included in the same product download. The handles will be stapled to the top of the packet to hold the pages together. Then, students will turn the pages up to work on each word. You will also find the list of sight words to include in the purse/ case. It can be used as review at home. Kids can use a crayon or a marker to highlight the words that they are able to read. It’s a good visual that will show growth week by week. Simply select the target words of the week and label the front cover with list # and target mastery date. If you teach the dolch sight words according to their suggested list, that the list number that you will use to label the front cover. Otherwise, you can just leave it blank.
