A FUN Teacher T-Shirt Giveaway

We, at Freebielicious are so excited to announce that we are teaming up with A+ Teacher Images (the greatest t-shirt company for teachers and more, in case you haven’t heard of them!). We all received the fanciest custom designed t-shirt we’ve ever owned. AND now, we can give a t-shirt of the winner’s choice for each of our individual blogs.
I just love my t-shirt because it is so much more than just a shirt.  It represents friendships, fun, and business relations (oh wait and STYLE, of course!) all in one “blinging” design.  Where else could you get all that from one t-shirt?  By the way, I never wear t-shirts,  but this one is sooooo soft and comfortable. I do not mind wearing it at all. It has truly become one of my favorite shirts!
A  special thanks goes out to Doug from A+ Images.  He worked with us to make just the right shirt to represent our company. A+ Images will also like to give a FREE t-shirt to one lucky winner from EACH of our blogs!

We have made this giveaway super easy for you to have almost 50 chances to win one of 23 t-shirts.  It is a blog hop, so you can enter as many or as few giveaways you would like!  The contest begins Saturday, May 18th, at 8:00 a.m. EST and ends on Sunday, May 19th, at 12:00 a.m. EST.  Winners will be announced on the following Monday.  Easy peasy, lemon-squeezy!  Start by entering my giveaway here:

End of the Year Ideas

The end of the school year is near. I have some graduation/end of the year ideas to share with you so that you can start preparing for the big day. These are ideas and resources that I have used in the past. I hope that you are able to use them too.

Caps and Gowns

I like to order our graduation caps and gowns from Capsngowns4less.com. If you order 50 or more units, you usually get a really good discount. I think that it’s about 12.95 per unit. In the past, this price has included the cap, gown, tassel and diploma! Not a bad deal at all. Here is the link to their Pdf price list if you are looking for ideas: http://www.capsngowns4less.com/kindergowns.pdf Make sure not to wait until the last minute. Rush deliveries always include an extra fee. However, if you are unable to order caps and gowns from capsngowns4less.com due to some unforeseen reasons, then you could always do with an alternative like Jostens, who are known to sell finely stitched graduation attires. Moreover, they often offer these attires at a discounted rate. You can click over here to check out their graduation apparel collection.

Songs and Poem for graduation program:

I have included some videos that I found on youtube just to give you an idea.

I am a promise

The world is a rainbow: This is a beautiful song, especially when you use the hand motions that go along with it.

Parent letter and more:

At the end of our graduation ceremony, I read a Good-Bye Letter to the parents. This is a poem that I found a long time ago on a teacher site. (If you know the author of this poem, please let me know so that I can credit them:) Parents love, love, love this poem. I also print it and place a copy in their graduation gift bags.

Here is that poem and other end of the year poems and songs that I have compiled for you. I have an old version of the Good-Bye Letter on TPT, this one is much better.

Download this FREE collection of end of the year poems and songs HERE.

Celebration time

After the ceremony, we have a big celebration in our classrooms. Parents go all out. We have a parent meeting early in May to organize the party. They all pitch in to bring appetizers, food, dessert, drinks, piΓ±ata, and much more:)

Teacher gift for students

We usually buy scholastic books in advance. We give our students about two to three picture books inside a colorful party bag. It also includes their diploma with a student picture, the good-bye letter, report card and a memory book.

Editable Diplomas

I just made some editable diplomas. Just add your information on the lines to personalize them. Remember to print on card stock and laminate for durability. The packet includes Preschool, Pre-Kinder and Kindergarten in two versions (one with two graduating kids and another with multicultural kids). Find the English diplomas here.

Hall Passes Giveaway!

Hall
Passes are so useful in our classrooms. I like to place mine next to the door
as a visual. For example, if the restroom pass is missing, students know that
they need to wait their turn until the hall pass is back in place. This is a
procedure that students will become familiar with very quickly. It
works great to maintain a good classroom management system.  Your
Subs will love it!
Would
you like a FREE set of Hall Passes?

My
friend Jennifer (from Simply Kinder) and I are giving away a set of Vista Print

Each set includes 4 passes. These are the most commonly used passes in any
classroom. You will get the Nurse Pass, Boys Restroom pass, Hall Pass and a
Girls Restroom pass delivered to your home.

Butterfly Gametivity

I hope that you like my new idea πŸ™‚

I am always looking for ways to
make learning fun. This FREE pack includes the common ROLL, SAY, COVER game mats for
number identification and addition. But, I came up with a new way to use this
concept for vocabulary development and comprehension.  I combined the ROLL, SAY, COVER game with the
LIFE CYCLE OF THE BUTTERFLY vocabulary pieces.  It is a good way to develop thematic vocabulary skills and, of course,  practice those new words. In this case, the students will review butterfly life cycle terminology. (My plan is to make more of these for other themes as well.)
Then, I added a twist to this game and
came up with a ROLL, SAY, COLOR GAMETiViTY. Let’s have fun while learning, right? Take a look and tell me what you think πŸ™‚
Oh, and make sure to download your freebies.

If you like my new ROLL, SAY, COLOR idea, here are some more freebies from my latest product.
Enjoy!!!

Click on the picture of the Alphabet Roll, Say, Color Gametivity.
This freebie is hidden in the product preview.
So, download the preview to get this freebie πŸ™‚

Do you like the clip art? It’s all in my clip art store. More will be added this week πŸ™‚
By the way, I am having a sale in my TPT store and my
TPT clip art store.

Now, HOP along to the  Kinder-Craze blog by Maria Monroe for more freebie fun!
